Snow Ice Cream & Smilies

A while back we earned enough Categories points for an ice cream party, so Mrs. Kasper decided to let her students make their own (using snow) this afternoon! 

So we headed out with bowls in hand to gather some snow! 

Then we brought it back to the classroom and added sugar, milk, and vanilla. We then took turns mixing it up.

Finally it was time to add some sprinkles & enjoy! 

While enjoying our ice cream we watched a BrainPOP movie about similes. 

Then we came up with similes of our own about ice cream! 

We also wrote snowman similes that were on display in the hallway!

What a fun way to end this snowday filled week!
