Bank Visit Downtown

Last week our class walked downtown to visit Citizen's State Bank. While we were there, we were able to visit with bank employees about what all happens at a bank and different ways to use money.

We learned about checkbooks....

We also learned about bank statements....

Then we were able to go into the vault.

We learned about safety deposit boxes.

Then we learned how and why the vault is locked daily.

She closed the door....almost.

Then we learned about interest rates.

Finally we were able to visit a teller at the counter.

At the end of the tour we were each given a bag with lots of banking goodies inside.
