Contraction Surgery

Last week Mrs. Base (our school nurse) joined us for some contraction surgery! We learned how to make two words into one using an apostrophe.

While the surgeons worked at the operating table, the rest of us used desk tools (scissors & glue) to perform surgery at our desks.

A special thanks to Dr. McGowan and the Ellsworth Medical Center for donating the medical masks! The 2nd grade "doctors" did a great job fixing those words up!
