Recently we were introduced to persuasive writing. Over the last couple weeks, we've been working hard on persuasive scarecrow stories to Mr. Farmer. After we finished the writing portion, we were able to actually dress up our scarecrows according to our writing. These stories and scarecrows are on display in the hallway outside our classroom.
Meet our TOTALLY UnIqUe Scarecrows...
Mrs. Kasper's favorite farmer (her husband, Mr. Kasper) popped into our classroom Monday morning to judge. He decided it was just too hard to pick only one, so he deemed them all worthy scarecrows to stand in his fields (if they were real, of course). He also shared some Crow Cupcakes and Sunny Straw Capri Sun treats with us. What a fun project!
