This morning we walked down to our local fire station to learn about fire safety because this week is fire prevention week.
First, this fireman talked to us about what to do in an emergency such as a fire.
We learned about the equipment they use.
Then we had to make our way through the smoke filled hallway.
We learned that keeping a hand on the wall is important to find our way out.
Then we learned about the Jaws-of-Life and how they can really save someone's life in a car accident.
Finally, we were able to take a short tour through the fire trucks.
Thank you to our local firemen for keeping our community safe!
