The Phases of the Moon

We recently finished our thematic unit on the Moon. While learning about the moon, Mrs. Kasper allowed us to each make our own paper mache moon to take home. Here is the process...

First, we each received a white balloon with a string attached. We then added newspaper strips to the balloon with a glue and water paste.

Finally, Mrs. Kasper announced that she had a surprise! We were going to add candy to our moons making them into pinatas! Happy (almost) Halloween! :)
